Ultimately, we envision partnering with community colleges to provide a Professional Piloting Program
This program would consist of Legacy Aviation providing both ground and flight training sessions at PNE while a community college would provide non-aviation classes at their campus. This would be a 2-year program for the aviator who would like to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Aerospace Technology or A.A.S. Degree. A partnership with a 4-year college is also on the horizon to support students who are interested in furthering their education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics, or B.S. Degree.
The benefit of having an already established piloting internship with airlines and corporate aviation flight departments empowers students to qualify for higher paying employment once their training and education have been completed.
