Ernest Arndt
Director of Maintenance, IA, A&P
Meet Fly Legacy’s Director of Maintenance, Ernest Arndt. Ernie became interested in vehicles at the age of 16. At the age of 25, he went to school at WYO Tech in California and obtained his Airframe and Powerplant License. After receiving his License, Ernie gained five years of experience working in General Aviation, followed by five years of experience in the aerospace industry, and seven years of experience in the airline industry. It was at that point Ernie decided he wanted a more hands on experience and joined the Fly Legacy maintenance team. In 2022 Ernie earned his Inspection Authorization. He enjoys spending his free time playing tennis and reading.
Kevin Varghese
A&P
When he was 12 years old, Kevin came to the US from India. He was always fascinated by how airplanes fly and as early as he can remember, if he ever heard an airplane flying overhead he would run outside to grab a glimpse. Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA, home of the Lycoming Engine. Kevin then spent the next five years working for Lycoming Engines, gaining experience building, R&D, and product support, which took him all around the world. It was at that point Kevin desired a more hands on experience and joined us in June 2022. “I work with this amazing team and as a newcomer to an active maintenance team environment they help me a lot.”
Dantezs Morgan
A&P
Dantezs graduated from Aviation Institute of Maintenance in 2017. Dantezs is a very hands-on person and has an extensive background in carpentry. He joined the Fly Legacy team 1.5 years ago. When Dantezs is not fixing airplanes, he can be found building houses or fixing automobiles. In his spare time he enjoys bowling and building model airplanes.
Morgan Kelly
Manager of Parts and Inventory
Morgan has been with the Fly Legacy Aviation team for three months. Prior to joining she managed several other businesses and has experience with inventory control. At Legacy, Morgan is tasked with the role of inventory management and maintenance support. In her spare time Morgan enjoys reading and watching TV.
