Start off the new year strong with even stronger pilot training! Here are some helpful tips.
Schedule in advance
Due to a drastic increase in new students, Fly Legacy recommends that you schedule lessons (and rentals) out in advance to secure your instructor, and/or
a plane.
Arrive early
Cold weather results in either preheating, or walking to our maintenance hangar for an aircraft. Start to arrive early to lessons and rentals, especially in the morning, to save time and money!
Use time wisely
Weather conditions in the winter often lead to the inability to fly. Instead of simply cancelling flight lessons, use the time to do extra ground work with your instructor, ask questions, or study to better prepare yourself for proper flight.
Decide your path
Knowing exactly what you want out of your flight training, and what your desired end goals are (whether it is a career type or recreation) can better help navigate your training, time, money, and mental health!
Be positive
As we know, these are trying times, and the future of aviation may seem bleak. Remember to understand that aviation will resume stronger than ever before, and do not be afraid to reach out for support from Fly Legacy if needed.
