“I started my journey with Fly Legacy five years ago after my wife arranged a discovery flight for my birthday. I have always been interested in flying and being a pilot, a passion born from tagging along with my dad, a now retired Navy master chief, to air shows at the former NAS Willow Grove. But between the aspirations of that young kid from northwest Philly and now, I took a 15 year detour getting my PhD in molecular biology and ultimately as a medical research scientist.
In joining the Fly Legacy community as a flight instructor, I hope to bring my passion for aviation and mentoring to the next generation of pilots, helping them realize their goals and ambitions. I’ve been fortunate to have many aviation mentors over the years who saw the potential in me, even when I didn’t see it in myself. I am excited to begin instructing at Fly Legacy and I am looking forward to seeing you all out on the flight line!”
